Are you Licensed?
Yes, we are fully licensed by Ashfield District Council (ADCno.31) for up to 7 dogs (including our 3 resident dogs - Dotti, Boe & Jack) ensuring we meet strict health and safety requirements.
Our license is always on display & available for anyone to view when they visit.
What will I need to provide for my dog?
Everything that you would supply if a friend or neighbour was caring for your dog. For instance: food, biscuits, chews, bedding, bowls, leads, favourite toys and anything else to make your pets stay comfortable and familiar.
If your dog has special dietary needs or medication this is not a problem.
If your dog eats a raw diet or fresh chicken/fish, you will need to cook these and provide the food in freezer bags which can be defrosted each day.
We ask you to provide an extra sheet explaining what food or medication should be given and when.
Is food provided for my dogs stay?
We ask that you provide your dogs usual food so as not to upset their stomach by changing it & keep them in their usual routine.
Are all dogs suitable for home boarding?
No. We have learned though our many years of experience of home boarding dogs that our service is most suitable for friendly, family pets.
We are happy to accommodate puppies as long as they are house trained. We are happy to accept all breeds as long as they are obedient, non-destructive, and non-aggressive and have a calm and gentle nature.
We do not accept incontinent dogs, dogs that chew furniture or other household items. If your dog causes any damage to the home whatsoever, any costs must be reimbursed by you the owner. We do not accept bitches that are expected to be or are in season during the booking.
What if my dog does not settle during their stay?
We normally find dogs settle in quickly once they’ve had a good walk & become acquainted with the new smells.
We also have a FREE ‘Meet & Greet’ service; which is always required prior to commencment of our services, here your dog will have the opportunity to meet our very own resident dogs.
This meeting simply entails a brief visit so the dogs can get familiar with one another & begin to get comfortable with new smells and surroundings in our home. This gives both you and us a good understanding of how your dog will settle in.
Will you keep me updated on my pet?
We always provide updates during their stay. You can also follow your Dog’s holiday on our Facebook Page with regular photos and videos posted -
